Leisure Club Rules and Regulations

 

• An applicant for membership of the Club must complete the official application form and return it with a cheque or cash in full payment of the membership fee or one month’s fee if the applicant is opting for the monthly direct debit option.
• The Club Management reserves the rights to reject any application for membership or for renewal of membership without giving a reason for doing so.
• All successful applicants for membership will be issued with a membership key ring, which must be presented at reception before gaining entry to the Club premises.
• No person under 16 years of age shall be accepted as a member except as part of a family membership in which event the adult member(s) must assume full responsibility for their behaviour.
• Membership shall not be transferable under any circumstances
• Membership paid in one payment is available for periods of six or twelve months.
• Membership paid by direct debit shall be for twelve months only.
• In the event of a member cancelling a direct debit before the end of the twelve month membership period the member shall forfeit the equivalent of one months direct debit fee.
• No children under 16 years will be admitted to the Club premises unless accompanied by an adult member who shall be responsible for their supervision. A responsible adult must supervise all children under 8 in the water at all times.
• All guests must be accompanied by a member and are only permitted in the pool area. Members shall be responsible for the conduct of their guests while on the premises. The Club Management reserves the rights to refuse admission to any person without giving any reason.
• The Club Management shall not be responsible for any injury to members or their guests or for loss or damage to the property of members or guests howsoever caused. Lockers are available on the club premises for personal property.
• No dogs or other pets (except Guide Dogs) shall be permitted on the Club premises.
• Members must obey the direction signs and the directions of the Management and Staff of the Club at all times. The Club premises must be vacated when requested to do so or on the sounding of the fire alarm.
• The Club Management reserves the right to limit the period of time and number of persons using the Club premises in the interest of safety or for any other reason.
• The Club Management reserves the right without prior notice to vary the dates and times at which the Club premises shall be opened or individual facilities shall be available for any period connected with repair, alteration or maintenance or where the Club premises or any part thereof are required by Management for their own use in connection with the business of the Club.
• No person shall be allowed to bring their own food or drink onto the Club premises.
• For health hygiene reasons all members and guests must shower and use the footbath before entering the pool, sauna, steam room or Jacuzzi. Swimming hats must be worn in all wet areas.
• Members and guests are not permitted to use any of the facilities of the Club while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. No alcohol shall be consumed within the Club premises.
• No person under the age of 17 years shall be permitted to enter the Gymnasium at any time.
• Club members and guests must dress in a manner appropriate to the leisure activity in which they are engaging and will not be permitted to do so unless appropriately dressed.
• The Club premises is restricted for use of adults only after 6.00 pm each evening except when specifically set aside for families.
• No smoking is allowed anywhere on the club premises.
• The Club Management reserves the right in its sole discretion at any time to vary these rules and regulations or the membership fee.
